TARGA FLORIO
The “Targa Florio” is one of the oldest car races in the world. Created in 1906 by Vincenzo Florio, a Sicilian industrialist and Patron, it had been representing for decades a strong historical and cultural identity of Sicilian society, and the golden period of industrial and technological progression expressing fully in the racing car industry. Among the racers in history there were champions like Felice Nazzaro, Tazio Nuvolari, Nino Vaccarella and Juan Miguel Fangio, to name a few; and on the circuit there were numerous dream cars such as Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Ferrari, Lancia, Maserati, Mercedes and Porsche.

As a tribute to this historical race, Cappello & Martello creates a wall decor that soaks the spirit of Sicily in its characteristic warm tonality, in an imaginative orange rain.
